PRF/EZ GEL PRF
Platelet-Rich-Fibrin

WHAT IS PRF/EZ GEL PRF
PRF (platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a next generation 100% natural, regenerative treatment made from your own blood. It uses your body's own platelets and natural growth factors to rejuvenate the skin, improve texture, reduce fine lines, restores volume and increase collagen production. This is a natural approach to anti-aging and skin restoration
WHERE CAN IT BE USED
PRF can be injected or applied topically. Common uses include:
Under Eye Rejuvenation: Reduces hollowness, dark circles and fine lines
Scalp For Hair Restoration: stimulates dormant hair follicles
Facial Volume/Texture Restoration: Helps improve texture and skin elasticity in the face (cheeks, chin, jawline, nasolabial folds, temples)
PRP vs PRF WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE
Both PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) are regenerative treatments made from your own blood—but they differ in how they're processed and how they work in the body.
1. Processing Method
-
PRP: Spun at high speed with anticoagulants to prevent clotting
-
PRF: Spun at a lower speed with no additives, allowing a natural clot to form
2. Release of Growth Factors
-
PRP: Releases growth factors quickly usually within the first few hours after injection
-
PRF: Releases growth factors slowly over 7–10 days, offering longer lasting results
3. Composition
-
PRP: Contains platelets, but less white blood cells and stem cells
-
PRF: Has a higher concentration of platelets, white blood cells, fibrin, and stem cells, making it more regenerative
4. Fibrin Matrix (Scaffold Effect)
-
PRP: No fibrin matrix, so it diffuses quickly into tissues.
-
PRF: Contains a fibrin mesh that holds the platelets in place and supports gradual healing and collagen production
5. Results & Longevity
-
PRP: Results are noticeable but typically shorter-lived
-
PRF: Results tend to be more natural and longer-lasting due to the sustained healing process

WHAT TO EXPECT/HOW TO PREPARE
What to Expect:
-
A quick blood draw will be done and processed to create your PRF.
-
PRF will be injected or applied based on your treatment area (under eyes, scalp, face, etc.).
-
Mild swelling or bruising is normal and temporary.
-
Full results develop gradually over weeks, with the benefit of natural collagen and tissue regeneration
-
Recommend three treatments spaced 6 weeks apart, followed by 6-12 months for maintenance
How to Prepare:
-
Hydrate well: Drink plenty of water 2–3 days leading up to your appointment
-
Optional: Consider getting an IV hydration drip a few days to a week before for optimal blood quality
-
Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours prior
-
Eat a healthy meal before your appointment
-
Pause blood thinners like Advil, aspirin, or fish oil (if cleared by your doctor) to minimize bruising
